Warm-up matches schedule for ICC Cricket World Cup 2019

The most awaited cricket series of the year 2019 is finally here and all the fans are gearing up to cheer their favourite cricket team and wishing them to win the World Cup 2019. All the teams have reached England and Wales where this mega event is going to take place. From 24th May onwards the warm-up matches will be started with Pakistan vs Afghanistan playing in the 1st Warm-up game at the County Ground, Bristol.

The schedule for the Warm-up matches:-
  • Pakistan vs Afghanistan, 1st Warm-up game County Ground, Bristol - 24 May 2019

  • Sri Lanka vs South Africa, 2nd Warm-up game Sophia Gardens, Cardiff - 24 May 2019

  • England vs Australia, 3rd Warm-up game The Rose Bowl, Southampton - 25 May 2019

  • India vs New Zealand, 4th Warm-up game Kennington Oval, London - 25 May 2019

  • South Africa vs West Indies, 5th Warm-up game County Ground, Bristol - 26 May 2019

  • Pakistan vs Bangladesh, 6th Warm-up game Sophia Gardens, Cardiff - 26 May 2019

  • Australia vs Sri Lanka, 7th Warm-up game The Rose Bowl, Southampton - 27 May 2019

  • England vs Afghanistan, 8th Warm-up game Kennington Oval, London - 27 May 2019

  • New Zealand vs West Indies, 9th Warm-up game County Ground, Bristol - 28 May 2019

  • India vs Bangladesh, 10th Warm-up game Sophia Gardens, Cardiff - 28 May 2019
The league match will start from 30th May, the host will take on Proteas in the inaugural match of the mega event. The 22nd match of the Cricket World Cup 2019 will be the most exciting match as India vs Pakistan will take place on 16th June at the Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester after the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy finals in which the Pakistan National Cricket Team defeated the Indian team.

India vs Pakistan has played 6 matches in the ICC Cricket World Cup and the Indian National Cricket Team has won all the 6 matches.

On the Day 3 of IND vs AUS second test of the four-match Test series at Perth, India’s Skipper Virat Kohli set another record in Test cricket. He became the second fastest player to score 25 Test centuries after Sir Donald Bradman who achieved the milestone in just 68 innings. He also equaled Sachin Tendulkar’s record for the highest centuries scored by an Indian in Australian soil. Both of them have scored 6 Test hundreds down under.
