The shocking revelation on Ball Tampering by Cameron Bancroft

In March 2018 the cricketing world was in deep shock when they came to know about the Ball Tampering done by the players of Australian national cricket team. Three key players were included in the scandal, Steve Smith the captain of the Australian team, David Warner Vice Captain of the Australian team and the Australian right-handed wicketkeeper-batsman Cameron Bancroft.

In March 2018, Australian team toured South Africa national cricket team to play four Test matches. In the third Test match after the lunch of the third day, Bancroft was seen rubbing the ball with a small yellow object which he afterwards hides in his trousers. This full incident was caught by the broadcasters on their Camera.

After the day of the match got over Smith was questioned by the media and has admitted that he was in the plan of the Ball Tampering and he said that the plan was made during the lunch break by “leadership group”.

Cricket Australia in the investigation found that the three players have breached the article 2.3.5 of Cricket Australia's Code of Conduct and Steve Smith and David Warner were banned for playing International and Domestic cricket for 1 year, they are only allowed to play club cricket and Cameron Bancroft was banned for 9 months from playing International and first-class cricket.

Cameron Bancroft who was the party to the plan to tamper with the ball has recently revealed that the Vice Captain David Warner was the man who encouraged him to do so. He also said he did that to get importance from his teammates.

He further took responsibility for the actions done by him, and he added that he had a choice and I made a massive mistake and that is what is in my control.
