Record- Breaker Virat Kohli Equals Sourav Ganguly’s Record at MCG

India’s Tour of Australia started with three-match T20I series that ended in a tie 1-1. After the test series, Team India geared up for the four-match test series. On December 30, Team India achieved its amazing win by 137 runs against the host.

India Team Captain Virat Kohli who is known to break records in every other match has done this time too. In the third Test against Australia at Melbourne Cricket Ground, Virat Kohli equaled India’s Dada Sourav Ganguly’s record.

MS Dhoni stood third in the list of most wins in overseas Tests as India Captain. At fourth place is Rahul Dravid who captained India in 17 overseas tests and has 5 wins in his name as a captain in overseas tests.

Virat Kohli is of the opinion that this is just the beginning and they are not going to stop there and will be focused to win the test series on the Australian soil. The fourth and final test is scheduled at Sydney Cricket Ground from January 3.
